Elaborately crafted belt clasp based on finds from the beginning of the 1st century AD.

(The plate with clasp comes from Vindonissa and the decorative sheet metal from the Lower Rhine.)

Total dimensions: 2.4 cm x 7.4 cm

Base body in brass, clasp made out of bone and the decorative plate in 925 silver.

On the original silver plate from the Lower Rhine an emperor and a priest were depicted in front of an altar.

Here is a variant modified according to customer requirements with an additional depiction of the altar from Lyon.

This narrow belt made of vegetable tanned leather is sewn by hand and has a buckle and a strap tongue.
