Mix from the roman Straubing type and the german Nydam type, End of the 2nd to beginning of the third century AD.
This spatha is composed by german (handle) and roman (sheat and balteus) elements after find from Illerup Danmark.

Total length: 84 cm

Blade: 70,5 x 4,8 cm

Handle: 13,5 cm

Materials used for the production of the handle: apple wood, leather

from different colors, brass decorations. Sheat made in wood leather covered, decorated wit h brass and tin.
